Joy Sitler Tribute Album - Listening Party and Submission Info

On September 27, 2025, we lost a beloved member of the SpinTunes community, Joy Sitler.

All are invited to submit to a tribute album to Joy which will be posted on the SpinTunes Bandcamp page. Tommy G will also host a Listening Party on YouTube on Monday, December 8, 2025 at 8 pm EST.

Read on for submission instructions!

The following submissions are invited and encouraged:

1. Cover versions of Joy's songs, whether newly recorded or previously recorded (e.g. for a SpinTunes Bonus Round); to be included on the album and played at the Listening Party. See below in this post for links to recordings of Joy's music.
2. Newly written and recorded songs inspired by or in tribute to Joy; to be included on the album and played at the Listening Party.
3. Short (under five minutes) spoken testimonials, either in audio or video form, offering memories or reflections on Joy's life, music, or impact; to be played at the Listening Party.
4. If you'd like to share something that doesn't fit in any of the above categories, email me at SpinTunesContest@gmail.com describing what you have in mind, and we'll determine if it's appropriate.

Send submissions to SpinTunesContest@gmail.com by Sunday, December 7, 2025. Submitting early is encouraged to help me organize submissions. Later submissions will be added to the tribute album as they are received but will not be played at the Listening Party.

Songs should be submitted in .flac or .wav format, or as a link to a downloadable song on Bandcamp, the same as for a SpinTunes tournament submission.

Include "Joy Sitler Tribute" in your email subject line. In the body of your email, include your song title, artist/band name, and any other information you want included on the album.
