SpinTunes 21 Schedule

The SpinTunes Google calendar, with all times listed in your local time zone, is available here.

The SpinTunes 21 schedule includes the following changes from previous tournaments:

• The judging period for Round 1 is extended by one week.
• The Round 1 listening party will be held at 9 pm; subsequent listening parties will be held at 10 pm.

July 28th (Friday)

• Sign ups open.

August 25th (Friday)

• 11:59pm - Sign ups end.

August 26th (Saturday)

• 12:01am - Round 1 challenge is announced.

September 3rd (Sunday)

• 11:59pm - Round 1 song deadline.

September 4th (Monday)

• 9pm - Listening party hosted by Tommy G.

Immediately afterward, the songs will be made available for free download on BandCamp at https://spintunes.bandcamp.com.

During this gap:

• judges will rank the songs
• judges will review the songs

September 16th (Saturday)

• 12:01am - Round 2 challenge is announced.

September 17th (Sunday)

• 4pm - Judges' Round 1 reviews are due.

• 8pm - Round 1 reviews & scores are posted.

September 11th September 18th (Monday)

• 10pm - All-request listening party - Tommy G plays favorite songs from past SpinTunes tournaments. Email your requests to SpinTunesContest@gmail.com

September 24th (Sunday)

• 11:59pm - Round 2 song deadline.

September 25th (Monday)

• 10pm - Listening party hosted by Tommy G.

Immediately afterward, the songs will be made available for free download on BandCamp at https://spintunes.bandcamp.com.

During this gap:

• judges will rank the songs
• judges will review the songs

September 30th (Saturday)

• 12:01am - Round 3 challenge is announced.

October 1st (Sunday)

• 4pm - Judges' Round 2 reviews are due.
• 8pm - Round 2 reviews & scores are posted.

October 8th (Sunday)

• 11:59pm - Round 3 song deadline.

October 9th (Monday)

• 10pm - Listening party hosted by Tommy G.

• 12:01am - Final Round challenge is announced.

October 15th (Sunday)

• 4pm - Judges' Round 3 reviews are due.
• 8pm - Round 3 reviews & scores are posted.

October 22nd (Sunday)

• 11:59pm - FINAL ROUND SONG DEADLINE.

October 23rd (Monday)

• 10pm - Listening party hosted by Tommy G.

Immediately afterward, the songs will be made available for free download on BandCamp at https://spintunes.bandcamp.com.

During this gap:

• competitors will rank the songs
• any competitor who wishes to may submit reviews
• judges will rank the songs
• judges will review the songs
• Bonus Round: competitors may record and submit cover versions of any song(s) from any round of SpinTunes 21

October 29th (Sunday)

• 11:59pm - Judges' Final Round reviews are due.
• 11:59pm - Competitors' Final Round rankings are due.
• 11:59pm - Bonus Round cover songs are due.

October 30th (Monday)

• 10pm - Bonus Round listening party hosted by Tommy G.
• Winner announced and winning song replayed at the listening party
• After listening party: Judges' and competitors' reviews and rankings posted.
