"Fourty-Two"
"Fourty-Two" has been writing songs for a year now, making their debut with an original song at their school's annual concert night in January 2025. They have played guitar since they were about 7 years old, and, since then, have explored both the visual, musical, and theatrical arts. Music has always proved to be a huge part of their lives and they hope to bring that they will find more opportunities to continue sharing this passion. Some of their favorite artists and inspiration include; Cavetown, Lizzy McAlpine, Jensen McRae, Billie Eilish, Sophie May, Renee Rapp, Tommy Lefroy, Taylor Swift, Wasia Project, and boygenius.

Boffo Yux Dudes
BYD currently reside in the Chicago and Boston metro areas, using the long tendrils of 9600 baud modems to cast their vigor and robust musings upon a unsuspecting world since 1986. At least they think so while the folks in the lab coats bring those tasty little pills before the Jello gets here. We're back to tantalize and befuddle you for SpinTunes #24! with our various pals and friendly enemies and attempt to amuse you while being true to our Dr. Demento like, wide eyed candy tasting tribute to the lost notes of a jazz ensamble in the rambling mind of a lost 4 year old.4th and 5th time is the charm, if anyone posts an email to us at boffoyux at gmail.com, we will send you something interesting audiowise if you use the subject line 'Again? You stiffed us again and again and yet again the last time. And again before that even. What gives?'. I did send send multiple things if we did stiff you. Or maybe we're still in your spam filter. You should go check that now.
Brian Gray
Brian used to write songs. He was pretty good. Sang too, occasionally. Can he still do stuff like that? Maybe. Let's find out!
Cairo Braga
Cairo Braga started making music right after their 12th birthday. Their father gave them a new computer and they discovered an intriguing software called Fruity Loops. This happened in 2002 and since then they've been teaching themself on music, production and overall sound/audio processes. With a boost from their years in college while getting a bachelor's degree in Image & Sound at the Federal University of São Carlos, they are now an independent artist who decided to make it for themself, aiming for self-expression through any art form they can reach and execute. They've been doing FAWM since 2014 and in 2024 failed their 1st and 2nd attempts at SpinTunes, maybe they won't fail this time?
Celestial Drift
I wrote some depressing songs and some absurdly silly songs last round and did pretty good so I guess I'll keep doing that.
chewmeupspitmeout
Regular fawmer and nur ein-er back for another go on the Spintunes merry-go-round.
David Taro
David Taro spends most of his life in a box room in South London either doing his day job in publishing (boo!) or writing and producing music (yay!). He makes indie pop, rock and blues with heart and humour. This is his first time attempting Spintunes, so please be gentle...
Dog Star Pilot
I’m relatively new to this and am looking forward to the challenge.

Lauren Oxford
Above all else, Lauren Oxford wants to let you in. She crafts songs that reward close listening, with lyricism that pushes the boundaries of what it means to be open, pulling universal revelations from personal excavations and weaving them alongside imagery that unfolds like a painting into the room. She uses alternate tunings to create unexpected chords and colors in her music that feel like their own kind of imagery, and isn’t afraid to stretch the limits of a voice that sounds like the earth after rain. Lauren’s trademark strength, however, is the ease with which she throws open every door and window of her soul, wielding a rare and arresting vulnerability like a beacon of light. Her goal is always to create a space for listeners to feel seen, loved, and safe enough to step in alongside her. For those who do, the result is a powerfully cathartic, healing experience that feels like group therapy.Lauren Oxford, her debut album, was released in 2022 and features instrumental contributions from many of her dearest friends, which give her songs the lush, orchestral backdrop that allows them to truly shine. As a solo performer, she has played shows from Seattle to Atlanta, from the Bay Area to Chicago, in the United Kingdom, and in & around her home in East Tennessee.Lauren is also in queer Appalachian four-part harmony folk band The Starlight Darlins, along with Sage Christie, Gray Buchanan, and Emily Johnson-Erday. Their studio EP, Skyline, is available wherever you listen to music.

The Abstract Concept of Time
The Dutch Widows
The Dutch Widows have a strong taste, with an aromatic, resinous fragrance. They are best stored in pods. For reasons that are beyond rational explanation, The Dutch Widows intend to attempt ST24 primarily using a 4-track cassette recorder. Not the submissions obviously, they will be sent in 'normally', but only because the post is not reliable enough to mail in cassettes on-time. Vocals will probably be in a DAW because of layering, and that's more important than a stupid, self-imposed restriction.
The Moon Bureau
Everybody's jangling in the moonlightSolo project as my efforts to recruit bandmates have proved futile
The Pannacotta Army
Chap from the UK. Consumer of marmite on toast. Walks a lot. Tends to put guitar solos in songs. Avid reader of contemporary fiction. No pets. Always on holiday during Spintunes. Listens to 50/60s jazz while playing scrabble. Part time birdwatcher. This isn't a Tinder profile - I'm very happily married.
The Popped Hearts
Pop punk nonsense
This Big Old Endless Sky

West of Vine
Roots rock / alt-countryA four piece MA/RI band IRL but for purposes of spintunes usually a solo production
William Carico
I've mostly spent time playing and singing for fun, around campfires, and at church, all the while neglecting to write and record a lot of music. Determined to change that, I saw this challenge and figured it would be great motivation for me to get off my butt and write and record some tunes! Catch me playing banjo, bouzouki, bones, and anything in-between while probably being too indecisive to stick to one genre.
