ST23 Round 2 Challenge

The judges are still finalizing their rankings and reviews of your Round 1 entries. While you wait, you get a head start on your Round 2 song. Now, I know that the uncertainty of not knowing whether you'll be moving on or not can cause some strong feelings. Feelings so strong, in fact, that you may not be able to put them into words. If that's the case, you might want to dig deeper into them, because... well... read on for your Round 2 challenge:

ST23.1 Listening Party and Deadline News

The Round 1 deadline has passed. Congratulations to the 33 contestants who submitted entries by the deadline!

Running late? Shadow entries have no deadline; submit them when you can and they'll be included on the album and judges will review them as time allows even though they won't be part of the tournament.

After the Listening Party, the judges get to work reviewing and ranking the entries. In Round 1, the judging period is two weeks, with judges' reviews and rankings posted on Sunday, September 15.

Of the 32 competing entries, 22 will move on to Round 2. Here's the full elimination schedule:

• Round 1: 10 of 33 eliminated, 23 move on to Round 2.
• Round 2: 10 of 23 eliminated, 13 move on to Round 3.
• Round 3: 9 of 13 eliminated, 4 move on to the Final Round.
• Final Round: 3 of 4 eliminated, 1 proclaimed SpinTunes 23 Champion.
